Patrick Murphy with his hand raised in worship

Why I wrote this

More than music, it's people.

I'm a worship pastor in New York City. For more than 20 years, I've led worship in church plants, megachurches, and youth groups of every size. Along the way, I've mentored students who were just learning their first chord and trained teams that led hundreds every week.

I believe worship is one of the most powerful discipleship tools we have. When you give students space to lead, you're not just filling time. You're raising future leaders of your church.
